Ionic Electric Hairbrush

Hmm, personal grooming is getting more interesting by the day. First it was electric toothbrushes, now it’s electric hairbrushes. Yes o, you read correctly. The uninterestingly mundane task of hair brushing has received a visit from the fairy godmother of technology, who knew? But unlike with electric toothbrushes where the process of washing one’s teeth and mouth is automated, these hair grooming tools do not automate hair brushing, rather, they do something much better: they help reduce hair damage by promoting ionic balance.

Okay, lets back up a bit; what’s ionic balance and what has it got to do with hair? Two objects rubbing against each other transfer or exchange electrons between tone another. One object loses electrons, becoming positively charged while the other gains electrons, becoming negatively charged. This is basically what causes bad hair days, especially on dry harmattan or winter days. Washing hair, towel-drying hair and dry air are some of the things that can cause hair strands to lose negative ions, become positively charged and lead to hair damage if it isn’t properly handled. Ionic hairbrushes create balance by introducing negative charge into the hair, thereby balancing the ionic condition of the hair. This means that brushing hair with ionic brushes makes hair softer, smoother, healthier and more manageable.

The ionic hairbrush featured here is a portable sized one with which bad hair can be easily managed on the go. It doesn’t need to be plugged in as it’s powered by 2 AAA batteries. It has all the benefits of an ionic hairbrush including:

  • Locking in moisture and sealing split ends in hair
  • Eliminating static and frizzy from hair
  • Reducing hair drying time and minimizing heat damage
  • It’s easy to use and doesn’t require professional handling

  1. What about products that have no weight indicated on them…. How is that one being priced… For example the ionic electric hairbrush one the supply link reads:- moq: 3 price in Yuan is 58.00 price in naira is 3108.97 and the weight reads NA…and it’s estimated landing cost is #12,525 naira…. My question is…. With weight being exempted on that link does the ELC still stand at #12,525

    • Hello Christiana,
Not every seller on 1688.com lists the weight of their products and this makes it difficult for us to calculate the estimated landing cost. However, one can make an educated guess by checking the weight listed for the same product by other sellers. This is one of the reasons we give more than one option for our customers to order from.
Now, one has to wonder how an estimated landing cost (in this case 12,525 Naira) could have been calculated with the “Product Weight” field empty as the calculator will require that empty fields be filled and will not give results otherwise.
      We do hope this helps.
      Thank you.
