Synthetic Hair Extensions

For the sake of a fun intro, we’re going to do an interesting exercise. Here we go: Words and Opposites; tall – short, big – small, fast – slow, human hair – synthetic hair. There you go, fun intro done. Now let’s talk about synthetic hair and why it’s a good thing. Our intro may lead some to see synthetic hair as the ugly duckling of hair fibers but it isn’t necessarily so. Thanks to advancement in hair technology, synthetic hair fibers have come a long way and have become so good that it’s nearly impossible to tell the difference between them and human hair fibers. True, they may never be able to pull off the effortless natural appearance of human hair but trust us when we say that not many people can tell the difference; as a matter of fact, many people have been sold synthetic hair as human hair.

There’re two major reasons we think these hair pieces are worth investing in. One is the fact that price is often a deciding factor of how much patronage a product will receive and the other is how closely they resemble human hair in appearance and quality. Synthetic hair costs significantly less than human hair and for this reason alone, it receives great patronage in these parts. Factor in the close resemblance to human hair and we’ve got ourselves a winner. Here are some other stuff to know about synthetic hair:

  • They’re low maintenance and easy to care for – something people with tight hair care budgets and even less time will appreciate
  • Unlike human hair, they hold their style for longer
  • Although they’re notoriously unnatural shiny or glossy and cannot be styled with heat tools, we now have matte, heat resistant synthetic hair on the market

  2. Hello Jima,
Strictly speaking, the number of bundles needed will differ by a woman’s natural hair volume, the style and her taste. However, 3 100g bundles should be enough in general cases.
Hope we answered your question. If you have anymore, please let us know.
    Thank you!

    • Hello Susan,
Your question isn’t quite clear. However, if you’re asking what we think you’re asking, you should bear in mind that each bundle of the product in the third store we suggested weighs 100g and since 3 bundles is the minimum number that can be fulfilled per order, the least weight to calculate your estimate with will be 300g.
If this doesn’t answer your question, do let us know.
      Thank you.

  3. Hello, there is no provision for weighing items that are not up to 1 kg, what is the solution?
How do I know what to expect?

    • Hello Bola,
Products with weight in grams can be converted to kilograms before calculating. For example, if 1 bundle of synthetic hair weighs 100g, you’ll have to convert it to kilogram and that’ll be 0.1kg. We hope this helps.
      Thank you!

    • Hello Mary,
We apologize for the late response. Yes, one can start with a capital of 20 thousand Naira (that’s assuming you’re using the Naira) . We created the calculator to make the whole process as easy and transparent as possible for our users and we’d love to help you out with any explanations. The calculator will ask for 3 kinds of information: product cost in Naira, weight of a unit (1) of the product and the desired product quantity i.e. how much of the product you’d like to buy. The calculator is set by default to calculate weight in kilograms (please convert from grams to kilograms if a product’s weight is in grams)and currency in Naira. So let’s say you’re buying 10 bundles of synthetic hair at 1 Naira and each weighs 100g. You’ll put “1” in the product cost field, “10” in the product quantity field and “0.1” in the product weight field. The next thing is to click on the “calculate cost” button and the estimated landing cost will be given. Please bear in mind that it’s an estimate and that the actual cost may be less.
We really hope this helps. Feel free to ask any more questions.
      Thank you!
